TREAT HOLDER:

Hi there! I hope you've been enjoying this beautiful weather! This is a cute little treat holder I've been making for my hostesses this month. Unfortunately I can't take credit for it. I got the idea for it in our Stampin' Success magazine that demonstrators get every month. Actually, there were 3 different tubes-all different sizes and all really cute!

I used a Wisteria Wonder base and scored it with the Simply Scored. I used Sticky Strip to make it into a tube. I used the Lace Ribbon Border in Calypso Coral and added it to the adorable Sweet Shop DSP. Next, I ran 2 pieces of Chocolate Chip Cardstock through the Big Shot using the Island Floral Die, and scored each of the petals to fold over the ends of the tube. I added a Designer Printed Brad to each end and addtached them to the tube. I guess I need to back up a little...before I attached them I put chocolate inside, naturally, and I punched out a hole on 2 of the petals on the top piece, and ran a piece of  Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon through the holes and tied a knot. To finish it off I made a tag using the Fancy Flower Punch with the Sweet Cake set and the fun Sweet Shop Designer Stickers. I attached it with some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine and now I have some really cute hostess gifts! Thanks so much for coming by! Have a great night!

CLUB NIGHT:

Hi there! This is one of the Make & Takes that we made at Regional in Milwaukee this past week-end. My good buddy-downline Connie and I had a great time! Shelli was there and Connie got to get her picture taken with her. And we both left with a door prize in addition to lots of other goodies we got!

This card was a little more challenging, so I didn't want to use it for card nights, but I knew my Club gals would be up to the challenge. So we made this tonight along with the St. Patty's Day mint I posted earlier. They were treated to frosted brownies afterwards thanks to Becky!

This card uses a Basic Grey base layered with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. We used a template and punched out a circle using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. We used the Send Me Soaring stamp set from the Occasions Mini-one of my favorites! We stamped the clouds in Pool Party and used Blender Pens to color them in. We used Basic Grey ink to stamp the sentiment.

Next, we used the Mat Pack template to add the dotted lines with the Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade Markers. We punched a strip of Pool Party and some DSP with the Scallop Border Punch. The Small Heart Punch was used on the Lucky Limeade cardstock at the bottom.

Then we used the 3" Circle Die to cut out a circle with the Big Shot and attached it to the Basic Grey cardstock with a Mini Brad. We then stamped 3 different kites in different colors through the circle window, so you can turn the circle to see different kites-so cute!

Finally, we punched out a couple of Pool Party hearts and put a white brad through the center of each. We put half a dimensional behind them and attached them to the back of the envelope. We wrapped a piece of Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around the hearts for a cute alternative on the envelope.

We had a great time getting together tonight. I hope you enjoyed the card! Thanks for coming by and make sure to check back tomorrow for a 'sweet' project. Thanks so much!

GOT GREEN? TREAT:

Top o' the morning to you! This is a fun little treat for all the little leprachauns in your life. I was inspired by the awesome and amazing Heather Summers, who had a card on her blog using the Small Heart Punch to make a 4-leaf clover. Check it out at www.stampwithheather.com.

I wrapped a Ghiradelli mint with a strip of Old Olive Cardstock. Next, I stamped the shamrock image from Got Treats? in Old Olive on Whisper White Cardstock and punched it out with the Extra Large Tag Punch. I punched out 6 hearts and scored them down the middle. I folded them in half and glued them onto the shamrock. I added a piece of Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine to the top of the tag to pull the candy out.

I just got the brand new Diagonal Plate that sits on top of the Simply Scored, and made a cute little envelope to hold the treat. The plate comes with measurements for creating several different sized envelopes. It will be so much fun to be able to create custom envelopes to coordinate with your projects! I added a strip of Old Olive Scallop Dots Ribbon to finish it off. Tomorrow I'll be heading to Milwaukee with my friend/downline Connie for our Spring Regional. I won't get a chance to post on Saturday, but I'm sure I'll have some fun to share with you on Sunday! Make sure to check back then. Have a wonderful week-end!

CARD NIGHT CARD #3:

Hi there! Today I'm wrapping up the cards we made at Card Night last month. I'm sorry I missed posting a couple days in there-still adjusting to a newborn in the house!  This card may look familiar to you. I borrowed parts of it from the sample in the Occasions Mini. I used the Take It To Heart set and Loving Thoughts set, both in the Mini.

I started with a Very Vanilla base and added a Baja Breeze layer which I ran through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I ran a sponge over it with Soft Suede ink to age it a bit. I used the Top Note Die in Soft Suede and tucked it under the Baja Breeze Cardstock. I punched a strip of So Saffron with the Lace Ribbon Border Punch, and stuck the banner on top of it.

I stamped the heart image in Basic Grey on Watercolor Paper and colored it in with Watercolor Wonder Crayons. I used Blender Pens to smooth it out a bit and then spritzed it with Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol. I then ran it through the Big Shot using the brand new Hearts Framelit Dies.

I added a Baja Breeze Seam Binding bow with some Crochet Trim underneath. I added a Basic Pearl to the bottom and that's about it. I'm feeling a little guilty about missing a couple days of posting, so here's a few extra pictures I want to share with you.

These are our 2 grandbabies. Gabriel is 6 and Quinten is 2 months.

Gabe looks like a giant next to Quinten!

I think they're going to be good buddies! Have a wonderful day and get out and enjoy the sunshine! Thanks for coming by!

REGIONAL MAKE & TAKE:

Hi there! Sorry for the little gap-I had a workshop this morning and I wasn't quite as on the ball as I thought I'd be, so I didn't get to post yesterday. This is another card we made this month. It was a Make & Take project we made at the San Antonio Regional. I loved everything about it, so I thought I'd CASE it-Copy And Steal Everything! I rarely CASE an entire project, but it's just too cute and wanted to share it.

It has a Crumb Cake base, with a piece of paper from the Sweet Shop DSP-LOVE this Product Suite-it's a sweet suite! ha ha. Next we used the line image from the Send Me Soaring set for the flower stem. We stamped the polka dot kite image in Lucky Limeade and then punched out the leaf shape using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch.

Next, we punched out 3 flower shapes in Calypso Coral using the Triple Flower Punch-I don't think that's what it's called, but I'm too lazy to go look! On top of that, we stamped 4 polka dot kites again, this time in Calypso Coral, and punched them out with the Small Heart Punch-again, don't quote me on that. We put some Dimensional halves on the back and stuck them to the Calypso flowers. We tied some Baker's Twine in a Bitty Button and attached it to the center with a Glue Dot.

We added a strip of DSP from the Berry Blossoms paper and punched it with the Scallop Border Punch. The sentiment was stamped in Pool Party on Whisper White and punched out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch, with a 1 3/8" Calypso Coral circle behind it.

We added a loop of Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and some faux stitching with our white gel pen, and Calypso Coral Marker on the smaller circle. The Sweet Shop DSP and stamp set Send Me Soaring can both be found in the Occasions Mini. But they're only available through April 30! Well I'm off to make some cards-YAY! Thanks for stopping by. Stay warm!

CARD NIGHT-FEBRUARY CARDS:

Happy March to you! This is one of the 3 cards we made at Card Night this month. I used the Sale-A-Bration set Sprinkled Expressions for this card. I have to say, I thought I was pretty clever using the heart image to make a 4-leaf clover. Then I saw them all over Stampin' Connection and Splitcoast, so I guess I wasn't so clever after all! But it still turned out cute.

I stamped 4 of the heart images in Lucky Limeade onto Whisper White Cardstock and cut them out. I layered a piece of the SAB Everyday Enchantment DSP onto a piece of Pool Party Cardstock that I punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. I stamped the shamrock image from Got Treats? and punched them out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch, and tucked them under the DSP. I wrapped some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around it and adhered it to a Whisper White base.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Lucky Limeade and punched it out with the Modern Label Punch. I stuck a piece of Old Olive Dotted Scallop Ribbon under the shamrock as a stem and added a Brights Button in the center with a knot of Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine. Make sure to stop back tomorrow for another card. But before I go, I had to share a few photos of Quinten, who is 2 months old today:

Now you know why I don't get anything done all day! Have a great night!
