KINDA ECLECTIC CARD:

Hello there! Happy 4th to you! Today's card is a compilation of several different projects that were featured in the last Stampin' Success~our demonstrator magazine. I used the set Kinda Eclectic, which intrigued me but I didn't order it right away. After I saw some samples I knew I had to have it! I started with a Very Vanilla base and stamped the starburst image in Hello Honey. Next, I stamped the background randomly with Soft Sky.

I added a piece of Epic Day Washi Tape and layered 2 pieces of Flowerpot DSP on top. I used the Big Shot and the Window Frames Framelits to cut out the label. I stamped it with the leaf image that I stamped off several times in Garden Green, and stamped the sentiment on top with Calypso Coral. I adhered it with Dimensionals. I then stamped the butterfly image with Calypso Coral ink and cardstock. I punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.

I finished it off with a small strip of Gold Sequin Trim and sprinkled around a few more sequins which I attached with Glue Dots. Collage cards are really fun to make and Kinda Eclectic makes it really easy to look like an artist:) I hope you have a fun-filled patriotic day! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

AMAZING BIRTHDAY FLIP CARD:

Hello there! Today I have a fun birthday card that moves to share with you:) I used the set Amazing Birthday~one of my new favorites. I started with a Crumb Cake base and ran it through the Big Shot using the Circle Card Thinlit Die. I used my Bone Folder on the score lines to get crisp folds. I then stamped the border along the top in Crumb Cake ink as well. I used the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch in Daffodil Delight and topped that with a circle cut from the Sweet Taffy DSP using the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. I stamped the cake image in Rich Razzleberry and punched it out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. I attached it with Dimensionals and added a pair of Brights Buttons. I stamped the pennant image in Pumpkin Pie, cut it out with Paper Snips and tucked it under the scallop.

I then stamped the sentiment image in Melon Mambo onto Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped the top image again in Old Olive, cut it out and adhered it over the Mambo.

I repeated the process with Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise. I found it helped to leave a tiny bit of a white border around the colorblocks to cover the Mambo ink.

Obviously I didn't figure that out at the top.

I added a couple more pennants from the DSP and attached them at the top. I added one of the fun little Basics Hodgepodge Clips on top.

Here's the message that's on the flip side. It may have worked better to use a piece of DSP for the pennant so there would be a design on the back side~I'll know for next time:)

I hope you enjoyed this fun birthday card which would work perfect for anyone. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

JUST SAYIN' CARD:

Hello there! Here's a card that was a snap to put together. I got the idea from SU! somewhere along the way. I started with a Crushed Curry base and added another layer on top that I ran through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I then used Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay Markers to color the bubble outlines onto Whipser White Cardstock and cut then out with the Word Bubbles Framelits.

I then cut out another bubble from the Flowerpot DSP. I stamped the sweet little heart in Tangerine Tango and the sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay from A Dozen Thoughts. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the sentiment centered, and I SHOULD have used it for the heart.

I attached the top bubble with a couple of Dimensionals and tucked a Crushed Curry Baker's Twine bow underneath with a Glue Dot. I sprinkled a couple of Candy Dots and Basic Rhinestones around for fun:) And that's all there is to this fun card! Stop back tomorrow for a birthday card that's perfect for anyone. Time to get back to my ice cream~we had 2 of Quinten's favorites tonight~ipe peam & tatos(tacos). Thanks so much for stopping by:)

THOUGHTS & PRAYERS CARD:

Hello there! I used up the last of my sympathy card stash, so I figured I'd better get busy and make some more. I used the set Thoughts & Prayers, which has been around for awhile, but I added some brand new products as well. I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe base and used the Big Shot along with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder to add the detail along the edge. I added a piece of Lullaby DSP, which I wrapped with the yummy Gold Satin Ribbon before I adhered it.

I cut out the label using the Labels Collection Framelits and stamped the sentiment in Baked Brown Sugar~a perfect match to the gold ribbon. I then used Markers in Pistachio Pudding, Blushing Bride, Crisp Cantaloupe & Baked Brown Sugar to color the stamp and stamped the image onto Whisper White Cardstock. I used the Festive Paper-piercing Pack, Mat & Tool to add the detail.

I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels and attached the label with Dimensionals. I finished it off by adding a bunny ears bow and attached it with a Glue Dot.

I wanted to let you know about the 'Buy 3, Get 1 Free' DSP Promotion that starts today and runs through July. See more details here: http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemList.aspx?categoryid=1999
